(timeout) "Zoneminder Authentication Failed" even though Zoneminder's logs says authentication was successful #487
Comments
I recently fixed a timeout issue that should be in 1.2.38. Is it possible for me to have temporary access to your server with a test user account? I can try connect my mac and see what is going on. If it is, please shoot me an email - pliablepixels@gmail |
The user was running ZM on a NAS which was very slow (over 25 seconds for login). This was causing zmNinja to abort HTTP connections. To help with very slow devices, I plan to add a "developer option" to increase HTTP timeouts to 60s (don't enable this by default, because it will lock for longer waiting for non responsive HTTP operations to complete) |

What is the nature of your issue
zmNinja apps says Zoneminder authentication failed even though Zoneminder's logs says authentication was success.
Details
Zoneminder was install on a Netgear ReadyNas 102 device. zmNinja app was about to detect the ZM portal URL, path to cgi-bin, and ZP api url successfully. Zoneminder's API was validated based on the guide posted. I am unable to pass the Zoneminder authentication failed message and when I go to any other menu like Monitors and Events, I get an Invalid API. I can see from the logs during the wizards setup, I was able to authenticate and it validated the API and was able to pull information from my Zoneminder.
I have tried zmNinja from my Mac Book Pro also and it gives the same results.
Thanks!
