AKAI S1000 usage question #110
-
Hi All, I have updated my ZuluSCSI 1_1 with firmware 1.1.1 without issue. I thought it was due SCSI-2 being activated so I used the zuluscsi.ini.txt to set EnableSCSI2 = 0 Note the SCSI card is working normally when used with an external SCSI CD player (SCSI ID 4). Is there a way to test the connection from the ZuluSCSI to the S1000 SCSI card (50 PIN) ? Any idea are welcome, thxs! |

@lotny88 You have to have at least one image created on your SD card, for your device to be able to see a SCSI ID on the bus. Please share your zululog here. |

Thanks, @lotny88. From the perspective of the ZuluSCSI, everything is working fine, according to the log. You would still need to format/initialize the blank volume within the S1000's user interface before it will be a valid volume it can do anything with. Have you done so? I suspect that may be the issue here. |

No because I can not access this blank volume from the S1000, I get the message: |

Eventually I found the solution. |

Another tip for the AKAI S series: SelectionDelay = 255 # Millisecond delay after selection, 255 = automatic, 0 = no delay |
