UofT System Status

An Android application that receives push notifcations and updates from Parse Cloud about IT Systems on the University of Toronto campus.

Features Include:

• Push Notifications when System Status updates
• Pull to Refresh updates
• Displays info about Components and Incidents from System Status
• Uses Parse as a local storage and online storage

Technology used Include:

• Parse for backend and recurring Scheduling, Cloud Code for parsing JSON Files, and monitoring changes
• Parse and Google Cloud Messaging for Push Notifications
• Certain Android Widget Libraries for UI
• Android SDK
