Reconstructing the H I Lyman alpha 1216 Angstrom Emission Line

This release contains the lyapy core code as was used for upcoming publications by Wilson et al. (2022) "Testing Lyman alpha emission line reconstruction routines at multiple velocities in one system" in ApJ and Sandoval et al. in preparation "New and Improved Lyman alpha reconstructions of M and K dwarfs." The repository contains an example start file (i.e., a set up file that runs the code), but does not contain the actual start files used in these works (i.e., every reconstruction presented derives from a different start file, and is essentially just changed for reading in data FITS files, editing parameter min/max allowable ranges, turning on/off free parameters, and file save names). Specific start files are available upon request from Allison Youngblood ([email protected]), but should be reproducible from the information provided in the relevant publications.
