Apache Iceberg 1.5.1 was released on April 25, 2024.

The 1.5.1 patch release contains fixes for JDBC Catalog, fixing a FileIO regression
where an extra head request was performed when reading manifests and REST client retries
for 5xx failures. The release also includes fixes for system function pushdown for CoW tables
in Spark 3.4 and 3.5.
