I'm stumped on why the tests are breaking. Is it possible that the test environment isn't using the updated python-nvd3 with multiChart in it? |

yes definitely, you might want to update the requirements file (https://github.com/areski/django-nvd3/blob/develop/requirements.txt) to point to the github version of python-nvd3. |
Maybe this is not be relevant to where the test harness is getting python-nvd3?
