Controller Kit Assembly Instructions

These instructions assume the surface mount parts are already installed.
I like to assemble by installing all of the same height parts at the same time. This allows you to install the parts, flip it over and solder. The weight of the PCB keeps the parts in place while soldering.

The switch for the X axis is located under the ESP32 socket on the back side. Note: The silkscreen for the switch is is on the correct side. Try not to overheat the switch while soldering. The switches are easily damaged.
Install and solder top side limit switch.
Install all of the 0.1" male and female connectors. Place a flat plate on top of them and flip the whole assembly over. Solder 1 pin of each connector. Now flip the PCB back over. Make sure all connectors are straight and level. If not, bend straight or heat up the solder joint and correct. Now solder the rest of the pins.
Install and solder the barrel connector in place.
Install the power supply. Be careful to note the orientation in the image below.

Make sure all pins are fully soldered and there are no shorted pins.
The 5V power supply has an adjustment pot. This needs to be adjusted to between 5V and 5.2V. Make sure the ESP32 and stepper drivers are NOT plugged in. Attach a meter to the G (ground) and 5 (5V) test points. Apply 12V via the power connector and adjust the pot to 5.0V-5.2V
