I would like to put this repository to the dataset group on GitHub. For this, we will have to make this repo public so I would recommend to do this step once the first phase of the refactoring is done.

Also, the following steps have to be considered:

  • choosing a proper license (atm I would go for the Apache 2.0 license)
  • Creating a nice readme, with screenshots etc. (to upload images to GitHub, simply upload them to a dummy issue, then you will get a proper link that can be used in the readme.MD.

What is the status of this issue? I would like to publicly move the repo to https://github.com/orgs/bonn-activity-maps/teams/annotation_tool

For this we require def. a nice readme

The readme is in the de-dockerized branch @jutanke. @beapc18 and I are waiting for your review. We also need to add one introduction paragraph. Once this is done, it will be ready to make public.

From my side its fine - the tool can be made public. Just to be clear: the admin password is NOT hard-coded anymore, is it?

It is not. All the passwords are stored in the server.

Then , I will finish the README as soon as I can and then we can make it public
