This repository contains templates that are useful for projects:
The ".github" directory contains the default templates to be used if a repo doesn't have a .github driectory. This directory is used by github as a default for all repos.
The 'oss_docs' directory contains useful things to use in your repo (This directory is not used by github for defaults):
- A README.md template
- A CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md template
- A CONTRIBUTING.md template
- A set of issue templates in the ISSUE_TEMPLATE directory that can be copied to your .github directory to give you more options to choose from.
- A standard default ISSUE_TEMPLATE.md to copy to the .github directory in your project if you just want a simple default.
- A standard default PULL_REQUEST.md to copy to the .github directory in your project if you just want a simple default.
Also included is an MIT "LICENSE" file.
Note, the ISSUE_TEMPLATE.md is old, but it appears that the new style can't be used as a default.
