Of course, this analysis is not exhaustive and other works or publications may refer to the initial dataset and ML solution. **In short, publications stated that healthcare settings can benefit from Machine Learning solutions built upon a web-scraped dataset consisting of google images with no medical relevance or expert review.** Several publications, including peer-reviewed articles, state that their solutions can differentiate monkeypox from measles, chickenpox and other diseases. However, none of the publications conducted external validation or employed real data, i.e., medically validated images.
