Benjamin,

what is the name SODA wants to use in the Publisher filter? This is the organisation name in English as in future the user interface will be in English only, though metadata records can be in any language.

I will then add the name to the CDC Publisher Name vocabulary. The descriptive term will be used for the filter.

Hello Taina,

 Thank you for reaching out. I hope you are doing well in those trying times.

 For now, we use the acronym ‘SODA’, which stands for ‘Social Sciences Data Archive’.

(It is not a translation, as English is often the language of choice for cross-institutional entities in the very multilingual country that is Belgium.)

There is only one PROGEDO endpoint, hosted by Science Po, so I am using the label 'PROGEDO: Sciences Po' for the time being.

I am expecting FORS endpoint to become available again in the not too distant future, so we will need a term for that.

Have now asked Brian what FORS would like to have as their organisation name. Hope he is not on holiday. When he answers, will attach the updated CV to #183.

Hello everybody,

I’m sorry that I must request a change so early, but after internal discussion the decision was made to include digital humanities in the scope of the Belgian data archive, so its acronym was modified: it is now SODHA, which stands for ‘Social Sciences and Digital Humanities Archive’.

@‌TainaFSD / @john-shepherdson , is it possible to take this change into account? In accordance with the philosophy of the CVS, the Code value would be SODHA and the Code descriptive term (ENGLISH) would be Social Sciences and Digital Humanities Archive (SODHA).

Benjamin, it is possible. I’ve now amended the organisation name in the CDC Publisher Names vocabulary in the CVS and published the new version. Also attached an amended Publisher Names 3.0 Excel file to the issue #197 (and removed the outdated file).

Matthew, please take this into account in the software.
