I've enjoyed your fork of alacritty so much, so when I saw an update to the alacritty-bg repo I figured I'd try to save you some work & try my hand at the updates for you!

Oh wow! hey there @nyaahilism. I just saw this now. Open source projects are great aren't they?

I don't think I'll be using alacritty again anytime soon. Smooth cursor animation feature recently got merged to kitty so I moved on and changed my terminal for now. Maybe I'll update the readme.

คᯫ᳐'ࠔ'ฅᯫ᳐ I totally get it!! I've been using kitty too. The lack of tabs for alacritty started to bug me and I already have so many other things I need to catch up on learning I didn't want to have to figure out tmux or zellij just yet to use something kitty can do! Also I love kitty's Unicode selector and font! Now I just have to stick to learning python so I can make super cool kittens.

I was also thinking about trying out Rio and I Ghostty just got released.
Those have cool things you can do with shaders but I don't know even where to begin with those.

Thanks for trying to do such a cool project tho! It was a good exercise for me and the second ever time I was confident enough at attempting to add something to such a cool project.

Thanks for this. I'll keep an eye on Rio. It's built in rust so that's interesting for me. But I probably won't use it yet until It also has the animated cursor movement (lol). Yep, shaders looks cool!
