Restricted Keywords

The VITALITY Restricted Search plugin supports datasets that may contain data that are both restricted and open. Some users searching for specific keywords or Essential Ocean Variables (EOVs) may not be interested in seeing restricted datasets and others may want to.

Keyword Class

Restricted keywords are marked in the underlying XML through the MD_KeywordClass element.

The structure appears as:

descriptiveKeywords> MD_Keywords

Use with CKAN

The restricted search plugin uses a harvester that can process the data marked as restricted in the XML and adds them to either the restricted keyword or restricted EOV sections

Without the harvester from the plugin the keywords and EOVs will be harvested as normal
