Hi, I don’t see a clear cache button.

I go to Components>Wordbridge>admin

And it just takes me to the menu manager

Hi

On the WordBridge menu item for your blog, set the 'Cache timeout' value to a small number (e.g. 1) and save the change. Reload your blog and see if you still get the incorrect date. If you do, let me know what your WordPress URL is and the version of WordBridge/Joomla you're using.

Vittal

Does look like a caching issue. Some things to try:

  • Delete and re-create your WordBridge menu entry (this will start off with a new cache set)
  • Make a trivial update to the items in WordBridge
  • Access the Joomla database directly and delete all the entries from the com_wordbridge_cache table.

Vittal

Hi

I wonder if the problem is caused by running Joomla under Windows - can you try the attached version of the component and see if it helps?

As for JComments, we don't currently support using JComments with WordBridge. We have some initial work in development, but it's not going to be until 2014 before we have time to roll it out.

Hi

Very odd that the date's still wrong on the entry page. I suspect this is a PHP on windows related issue, so I'll need to setup a windows test system to replicate (your blog bridges fine on my linux test servers, so it's not your data). It'll take me a couple of days to find the time to do this.

In the meantime, you can remove the date from your entry view so that the entries don't look so strange:

Copy the file components\com_wordbridge\views\entry\tmpl\default.php to
templates\joomlafrog-et\html\com_wordbridge\

Edit the new file, removing the line:

<span class="wordbridge_date"><?php echo WordbridgeHelper::wordBridgeStrftime( '%B %e, %Y', $this->date, true ); ?></span>

Vittal

I had the same problem with a 1970 entry date on a windows server. This new version fixed that. All working now.
