Joomla to WordPress question

Two quick questions:

1. Can this do the reverse? Display in WordPress existing and new Joomla data, using WordPress tools, including the json API?
2. Is this project still under active development?

1 - No, this project only reads from WordPress and displays in Joomla, not the other way around
2 - We are not currently actively developing
