Is there a reason for not supplying a gemspec in the git repo? I'm trying to fork/fix a bug and I can't install the gem with bundler's Gemfile because of the missing gemspec. This makes it much more painful to debug issues etc.

No particular reason. I don't use bundler myself for pure gem projects. The 'stickler.gemspec' is a generated artifact in my projects so it doesn't get checked in.

I just did a update to assit contributors to stickler to get up to speed. If you update your git repo and then run

rake how_to_contribute

That will provide instructions on how to contribute to stickler.

Thanks for the prod to get some documentation in there on how to contribute. I appreciate it.

enjoy,
