Thanks a lot for your work! You're doing this for free, no need to apologise. I'm sure CRAN won't bother you about the problem on M1s, they can be a bit bureaucratic but they're not completely unreasonable. Let me know if there's anything I can do. |

I have no excuse for not sending a pull request of imager 0.42.3.
This is the latest version submitted to CRAN.
I'm not sure CRAN will accept this version because I can't confirm the additional issue on m1 mac has been fixed.
I don't have an m1 mac machine and no website provides a service to test R packages on m1 mac machines.
Maybe CRAN believes maintainers must buy m1 mac machines to test their packages.
However, I won't buy an m1 mac machine.
imager may be removed from CRAN.
I'm sorry for troubling you and many R users.
