Identity Chooser will soon make use of this feature.
Extra debug for preferences
debug-preferences
Fewer permissions
- Remove migration path for legacy preferences
With the removal of the legacy preference code, BorderColors-D is now fully based on modern MailExtension APIs. As such, it can require minimal permissions to do its job.
Translations are back

- Add localisations for Italian and British English
- Improve styling of the options page, including support for dark themes
Borders for all sizes

Dark theme support
- Respect the background color defined by Thunderbird themes

Now with live preview!
- Show options in the Add-on Manager, rather than in a separate tab
- Update compose windows when any options change
Works with more than one window
- Multiple compose windows will use the correct color, instead of the same being applied to all of them (fixes #13)
- The top-right gradient style actually works
- Background styles show in gray if no color is defined for the identity
Works with Thunderbird 78
After rewriting most of the extension, there is now a BorderColors-D version working with Thunderbird 78.
⚠ Some of the styles that were available in the past are not possible from Thunderbird 78 onwards. However, we can come up with new ones! Please file an issue if you have any suggestions.
