WebHostingHub-Glyphs font icons 0xF0BF has to be displayed as enabled when front panel (for local control) is unlocked and available. When selected, icon has to be changed to 0xF0BE. When the front panel is locked only that icon [Lock/unlock] remains enabled. To unlock user have to click and wait for 2 seconds and if system password is set, a keyboard page will be opened.
System password can be defined and changed using the system page or remotely by SYSTem:PASSword:NEW command. Another SCPI command SYSTem:KLOCk has the same effect as previously described user interaction using the front panel.
Additionally few new added SCPI commands also affect lock status of the front panel:

  • SYSTem:COMMunicate:RLSTate
  • SYSTem:LOCal
  • SYSTem:PASSword:CALibrate:RESet
  • SYSTem:PASSword:FPANel:RESet
  • SYSTem:REMote and
  • SYSTem:RWLock

As stated into SCPI reference guide, difference between SYST:REM and SYST:RWL is that former has the same effect as SYST:KLOC or SYST:RWL and disable even [Lock/unlock] icon (change style to disabled).
