This project provides basic statistics and visualizations of COVID-19 data in Italy using data from the Dipartimento della Protezione Civile (DPC).
I am an Electronics Engineer, not a data scientist. This project is my personal effort to monitor trends and stay informed about the situation.

The code for the website is located in the ./docs folder of this repository. The site is built entirely in JavaScript and runs on the client side.
To get started, ensure you have Python 3.7+ and pip installed. Then, run the following command from the project root:
pip install -r requirements.txt To generate a plot, simply run:
python basic_plot.py
