It would be nice to have a reference of why Ubuntu is doing this in the first place, otherwise we are blindly punching holes here |

I guess if it's the same file name the package will conflict right? So it would need to be a number with a higher priority?

I've opened https://salsa.debian.org/utopia-team/network-manager/-/merge_requests/12 to get an explanation from upstream on why this is desirable |
