puffinis a profiler I wrote a while back: https://github.com/EmbarkStudios/puffinWith this PR you can now get profile scopes for some things in
eframe,egui-winitandegui_glow. This let's you see if, for instance, it is the tessellation, painting, or something else that is taking up the time.There is a simple example in the new
examples/folder.Note that
puffinis only for finding the rough overview of your performance. You should use a proper sampling profiler for a more detailed understanding.
