One of the things I feel is missing from this doc is an explanation as to why a firm may seek to propose a project to a foundation. How might they evaluate the decision? It comes with some positives and negatives: Positives:

We need further discussion for the deeper dives from Peter, Phil and Thomas so that I can interpret more directly the needs and the why. It is challenging to go through and edit the document directly without more discussion. I have gone through and made the updates for the additional foundations to be added as well as the addition of the governance for the benefits from Thomas Coopers recommendations |
@psmulovics @tsteenbe @pholleran thanks for all your comments. @BrittanyIstenes and I are just reviewing them but it would be really useful to have some suggested text from you. e.g. @tsteenbe you talk about the difference between foundations, which is useful, but can you give some text that we can include? Ideally some references too. ty! |
