Extension fails once you try to remove two letters using one keypress.

Ways to reproduce

Just take a tag with long name and put text cursor to the end of the opening tag name. Then press and hold backspace for more than 1 second.
Same way it works when you put cursor at start of tag name and press Del for 1-2 seconds.
Same happens if you rename closing tag using procedures described above.

Problem exists for months.
