Can someone please update the Guide and remove this "hack" which teaching invalid html syntax just to pass the tests? The test has been fixed, so this "hack" needs to be removed. In fact, I can not understand for the life of me why anyone ever thought this was a good idea to begin with in the Guide of all places. The guide should never suggest hacks of any kind just to pass at test in the curriculum. There really should be a strict policy of not suggesting hacks to pass challenges with test suite issues. If I need to create a new issue to get this removed from the guide, I can do it, but this should never have been approved to begin with in my opinion. Just let me know. Thank you. |
I totally agree with @RandellDawson — this hack should never have been allowed to be added in the first place. It shouldn’t be about “getting tests to pass” it should be about “learning valid HTML”. What I think should have been added was an apology for the bug and a message explaining to click on the curriculum link at the top and move on to the next test. Additionally, why is usage of |
