Hot reloading wasn't working for me while going through the tutorial and so I searched the issues and came across this: #2989

This issue has been closed by it's author, but it's still valid. Specifying the host on the gatsby develop call with --host localhost fixed the issue.

Sorry for having left this broken for several days :-( the right fix I think is to just set the default back to localhost which I just did in #3080

Setting the host to 0.0.0.0 is nice as then you can access the site across the network but that breaks HMR as it turns out :-(

Thanks for coming and offering a solution! Would love more PRs from you in the future! Don't hesitate to PR or file issues if you see things that seem wrong.

If you upgrade gatsby-cli to the latest, HMR should be fixed now.
