Still not a cmake expert but in CMakeLists.txt shouldn't :

if ($(CMAKE_VERSION) VERSION_GREATER_EQUAL 3.22)

be

if (${CMAKE_VERSION} VERSION_GREATER_EQUAL 3.22)

At least for me, it doesn't otherwise set the length properly.
