Jobber.exe makes trouble with virus scanner F-Secure #123
Comments
From @joaomoreno on July 27, 2017 19:57 Please file this in the appropriate extension repository: https://github.com/eamodio/vscode-gitlens/issues |
Opened anaisbetts/spawn-rx#17 |
@iamhjr I am closing this as won't fix, because I raised it up to the spawn-rx component and they felt it is just an issue with F-Secure wrongly identifying an issue. So there isn't much I can do on this. |

Steps to Reproduce:
I updated VScode to the current version
I restarted the app for the changes take effect and get the following F-Secure warning:
PotentiallyUnwanted:W32/App.0750e025c8!Online,
<me>.vscode\extensions\eamodio.gitlens-4.3.2\node_modules\spawn-rx\vendor\jobber\Jobber.exe
I disabled scanning for this file (created exception)
Reproduces without extensions: Yes/No
Sorry, didn't check without extensions (gitlens), since I'm working with git.
I suppose the file properties and/or the lack of digital signature might be a source of this trouble.
Try code signing it.
