Hi Murat, Yes, it is possible to use mt32-pi without the buttons. That's what I wrote mt32-pi-control for. It's a little command line tool working on DOS, Amiga, Atari ST, Windows and Linux. With it you can do ROM selection & co. from the host machine. I personally use it mostly from my DOS machine. If a game requires specific settings, I just create a .BAT file with a call to mt32-pi.exe in it. Apart from that, yep, you can connect the buttons separately. The pins do not conflict with anything on clumsymidi. You can for example solder wires to the pads below the header. If you look closely in the picture in this post you can see how someone else did it. Good luck! |

Hi everyone,
I would like to build a clamsy MIDI board. It looks like this board does not come with buttons for Rom selection, volume etc. Can we use it without the buttons, or can we add buttons separately? Thank you
