Maybe I am overlooking an existing way of enabling this, but right now if I have a tab split into multiple panes, then maximize one of the panes, there is no visual indicator that their are other panes that have been "minimized" and hidden, and should at some point be restored. It could be a separate pane state icon beside the existing icon that controls groups actions, et al.
Even better would be something like the pseudo-window control buttons which Tilix adds to pane title bars (but even the Tilix restore icon gives you no visual clue that other panes are minimized). So then a maximize/restore icon, and a close pane icon could go beside the existing groups management icon.
I need to remember to right/secondary-click inside the pane to reveal the context menu, and then see if other panes need to be restored.
Additionally, when there is only one pane (and none that are hidden), the zoom/maximize context menu items really do not make any sense prior to splitting the pane. A bonus enhancement would be to not display these context menu options when there is only one pane.
