Description

Create a dropdown that appears when the user clicks on the XP display, showing a list of available weekly quests. The dropdown includes contests, airdrops, and other content to help users earn XP points. It displays up to three quests at a time, with scroll functionality if there are more than three quests. Quests are prioritized by the user’s community memberships first, followed by the amount of XP provided.

User Stories / Acceptance Criteria

  • As a user, on hover when I see XP display in the nav bar, a dropdown should appear with a list of available quests.
  • The dropdown should display up to three quests at a time, with scrolling functionality for more.
  • Quests should be sorted first by communities I am a member of, then by the amount of XP they provide.
  • The dropdown should include different types of content like contests, airdrops, etc.
  • If no quests are available, display a message encouraging the user to check back later or join more communities.

  1. Where see all button leads the user?
  2. The dropdown should display up to three quests at a time, with scrolling functionality for more.

So 3 visible right away but how many available for scrolling? Like 10? And for more user should click see all?

  1. We need empty state probably if no quests available on clicking dropdown.

  1. See all would bring you to the XP page, where the leaderboard and other live quests are hosted
  2. lets keep it at 3 visible, no scrolling - to see more than 3 the user should just go to the quest page
  3. How about some text that says "No live contests right now. Check back soon!"
