The snapshot group creation test, which is a part of the QA automation sanity test is failing always when they use 6.2 version. But the sanity is getting passed on all OS environments if they use external snapshot controller 4.1 version. Need to understand more on the reason for failure here, but the sanity always passes with old version

It failed with the old sidecars, did they test with the beta2 chart?

Yes, they used beta2 chart and after that the snapshot group creation worked fine. But they reported another issues with CRDs validation if they use external snapshot version 6.2.. I saw your comments on the bug now, today I had discussion with QA team and I told them to verify it again. We will verify it again properly and will update the release note if it is working fine.

I jotted some notes in the JIRA. The test uses v1beta1 APIs which are deprecated. The test needs to be rewritten to use v1 and it will work.
