MouseArea: enter and exit does not work inside a scrollable if the cursor is not moved

• My hardware is compatible and my graphics drivers are up-to-date.

What happened?

I tried tracking the currently selected emoji with a mousearea, but the selected emoji didn't update when scrolling with the touchpad.
I copied the mouse area file because libcosmic is not based on the latest version.

What is the expected behavior?

enter and exit updates if the cursor is not moved.
