  1. Keep "Terms of use section" as is

  2. For "Data attributes section":

    • only include terms that are used in ref, gps, acc data
    • terms are ordered alphabetically, without distinction between ref, gps, acc attributes
    • content from http://vocab.nerc.ac.uk/collection/MVB/current/
    • structure (the Note only applies to MH_WATERLAND which contains test terms)
    barometric height
    Altitude estimated by a barometric pressure sensor on the tag. Example: '179'; Units: m; Entity described: event
    Alternative label: bar:barometric height
    Note: this field is not used
    URI: http://vocab.nerc.ac.uk/collection/MVB/current/MVB000054/

  1. Download as csv
  2. Limit to attributes included in study
  3. Rename MH_WATERLAND - Western marsh harriers (Circus aeruginosus, Accipitridae) breeding near the Belgium-Netherlands border-reference-data.csv to MH_WATERLAND-reference-data.csv
  4. Leave headers as is
  5. Upload as is

  1. Download one sensor type at a time
  2. Download data per year
  3. Download as csv
  4. Include outliers
  5. Don't include undeployed locations (are not in the data either)
  6. Rename files from MH_WATERLAND - Western marsh harriers (Circus aeruginosus, Accipitridae) breeding near the Belgium-Netherlands border-gps.csv to MH_WATERLAND-gps-yyyy.csv
  7. Leave headers as is
  8. Gzip file (new step since July 2020): gzip MH_WATERLAND-gps-2013.csv (reduces size by 83%)
  9. Upload

Acceleration data

  2. Download data per year
  3. Download as csv
  4. Don't include outliers (there are none)
  5. Don't include undeployed locations (are not in the data either)
  6. Rename files from MH_WATERLAND - Western marsh harriers (Circus aeruginosus, Accipitridae) breeding near the Belgium-Netherlands border.csv to MH_WATERLAND-acceleration-yyyy.csv
  7. Leave headers as is
  8. Gzip file (new step since July 2020): gzip MH_WATERLAND-acceleration-2013.csv (reduces size by 90%)
