deb package?

Hello,

Linux Mint 20 does not come anymore with snap. But I want to install dosbox-x, is there a place to download the .deb package and install manually instead of having to use the unsupported snap (unsuported by mint now)

I do not have the scripts to make .deb packages but if anyone knows how to support this use case feel free to respond to this.

I looked into it some years ago, and back then there was no easy way to make a DEB from a RH distro. You really need to run a Debian/Ubuntu distro.

I can package dosbox-x as a deb file using checkinstall as i have a vm running linux mint 20 however I'm also affected by the same issue on #1698.

@marcelofrau here is the latest sdl2 version compiled as deb file.
dosbox-x_0.83.4-0.83.4_amd64-SDL2.zip

also you need these packages libX11 libXext libpng alsa-lib ncurses zlib mesa-libGL pulseaudio-libs fluid-soundfont-gm
