It would be really great to have a new release on Rubygems: since the last release Bunny has been updated several times, with important fixes, but Sneakers is currently locked to an outdated version (2.9.x, while the most recent Bunny is 2.12.0). There are two commits on master that bump up the Bunny version twice, plus @olivierlacan PR, that would make more Sneakers releases unnecessary when Bunny releases new minor versions.

Is there any way we can help to make the next release happen soon? If something is blocking the release I would be happy to help.

I've produced an RC, 2.12.0.rc1 with a couple more PRs. Please give it a shot. We'll take a few days to update the change log.

@gabrieljoelc we didn't done any kind of rigorous testing. We need a feature in this version!! Adding middleware, which we tested :)

Hi, we are looking forward to a 2.12.0 release! We have a PR open against the Elastic APM Agent with support for Sneakers but it depends on some functionality of the upcoming v2.12.0. Do you have an estimate as to when it will be released? Thanks!
