Add link to Jupyter 2021 survey #396
Conversation
We should also add this as a banner on the community forum? |
I think this should be at least on the main page to get user attention. Having said that, this is currently displaying on every page header. |
@lresende is there a chance that we can track which link a user clicked in order to arrive at the survey? I think it'd be interesting to know whether a user arrived via jupyter.org (AKA, probably a relatively new user), the community forum (AKA, probably someone already engaged w/ jupyter), or Twitter (AKA, |
@lresende @choldgraf JupyterDotOrg = https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/QMYH5CM I've just been linking to the original Jupyter blog post to establish legitimacy. The blog post has its own tracking link the ones in this comment. If there is a limit on number of links, I am not aware. No one is using the links above because i created them just now. @choldgraf here you go https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2HTNV3Y |
well there are 100K launches of binder each week so that should help I hope :-) |
@choldgraf we broke 1K today. What do you think about holding off on a mybinder link for a developer oriented survey? |
Fine w me 👍 I'm happy to go with whatever you think is best |
Just closing the loop here. We reached 1,127 responses. Talked w Luciano briefly this week about taking down the survey link on jupyter.org so that no one is surprised. |
PR to remove the link is waiting for review: #399 |
We are doing a community survey for Jupyter/JupyterLab as discussed in jupyterlab/frontends-team-compass#107. To bring more visibility, we would like to leave the calling for participants on the Jupyter website for a few weeks.
Please feel free to provide design feedback in the form of additions to my pr.
