Hi Justin and others,

Has anyone done a Python or Ruby migration for this code? If yes, please let me know, otherwise our team might be doing that in the next few months.

Cheers,
Masud

Hey Masud, there are no other ports, the server code that's in php will be
simple to port, doesn't do that much, the UI is all reactjs/client-side
though.

Please keep me informed with your work on az, I'm happy to help and answer
question.

If you do the project on github if be interested to help coding in wherever
the chosen language is

What's the reason the move from php?

Cheers

Justin

Sounds good, many thanks for the quick reply. We don't do any coding in php at Lancaster and primarily keep our development paradigm to Ruby/Python for backend and Angular/Ionic for front end developments. Not to say we can't select something else, this just keeps things simpler and contained for us. I will keep you in the loop when the port starts at our end.

thanks @masudk - does lancaster have many database records? (we at swinburne have around 400 that go into az) cleaning up and formatting the marc may be a lot bigger challenge then the code
