I'm waiting for a kubernetes-sigs member to verify that this patch is reasonable to test. If it is, they should reply with /ok-to-test on its own line. I suspect this will work now since the CI was moved earlier this morning to use a cached image of nginx on quay.io (see #8364), with the nginx image being the primary offender for multi-arch issues.
