Do you plan to use something like Weblate to make it easier for contributors?

That looks interesting @hex-m but I'll have to try it out first. It would probably make more sense when Amore is more stable than it is now.

@hex-m I've checked out a few other projects that use Weblate to get a better idea about what it is and how it's used. It looks very interesting, so it'll probably be added at some point, but I'm not sure when. I want to get Federation/ActivityPub working this summer, then Weblate will probably be added after that.

Wouldn't it be nice if there was an app that was Fediverse friendly and allowed people to use their ActivityPub credentials to login and work on translations.

Weblate supports multiple authentication backends already. What's missing are big ActivityPub Implementations offering a backend (probably OIDC). Mastodon has an issue for this.
