WebSocket that will automatically reconnect if the connection is closed.
We've forked this library to implement a bugfix for an issue where the websocket would be prevented from ever reconnecting if the close() method was called whilst the websocket was attempting to connect.

A Github actions workflow has been created to automatically publish new versions of this package to Github Packages. To publish a new version:
- Bump the version number in package.json
- Run the "Publish Package to GitHub Packages" workflow
- WebSocket API compatible (same interface, Level0 and Level2 event model)
- Fully configurable
- Multi-platform (Web, ServiceWorkers, Node.js, React Native)
- Dependency free (does not depend on Window, DOM or any EventEmitter library)
- Handle connection timeouts
- Allows changing server URL between reconnections
- Buffering. Will send accumulated messages on open
- Multiple builds available (see dist folder)
- Debug mode
