The Mapbox Maps SDK for iOS is being rewritten in Swift and Metal with a number of new features and an API that’s more similar to the Android map SDK and GL JS, especially in the runtime styling API. Map SDK v10 is currently in beta. This issue is a placeholder to track the navigation SDK’s inevitable upgrade to it. The upgrade will end up in navigation SDK v2.0 due to the major backwards-incompatible public API changes in map SDK v10.

#2808 upgrades to a beta of MapboxMaps v10.0.0; these changes are in v2.0.0-alpha.1. A number of other issues are tracking tail work.
