I have a personal Kakoune VimGolf repository and I'd like to incorporate some parts of this repository in my own (e.g., scripts & some of the documentation). Would it be possible to clarify the licensing of this repository? Thank you!

This is a good question with no good answers as we did not take care of licensing this repo and did not ask any copyright waiver to contributors.

The in/out files are pulled from the vimgolf website and might be MIT assuming they are covered by the LICENSE in https://github.com/igrigorik/vimgolf/

I am not sure the cmd files qualify as copyrightable work, and I suspect the scripts barely do as well.

I am happy with putting the scripts under the UNLICENSE although there have been a few contributors to those but only for a couple line changes so most likely their contribution do not qualify.

In my humble, non-laywer opinion, only golf.sh might qualify for copyright protection. The rest is either under vimgolf's author copyright or too small/trivial to qualify.

Pushing a commit that add the UNLICENSE to the repo.

Note that the pulled in/out files are under whatever license VimGolf
uses.
