Power options for the middle mouse button: close programs or open files and folders

Description of the new feature / enhancement

The middle mouse button is underused in windows. Similar to how tabs in a browser can be closed or opened with it, it should be possible in windows:

Middle mouse button on an open program in taskbar -> program closes
Middle mouse button on a file/folder -> opens file/folder

Instead of right click -> close window its only one press
Instead of double click on a file/folder its only one press
This is especially useful if a large tree of folders needs to be traversed quickly or if multiple programs need to be closed fast.

I've achieved this functionality with 3rd party tools, but it would be nice if Windows would include a more direct way.

I'm assuming that you're talking about using this with File Explorer. I'd argue that it would be more intuitive to have MMB open files/folders in a new window, similar to how MMB acts in the taskbar and most browsers. This adds features rather than just introducing redundancy.
