[Request] Mouse Shortcuts #3690
Comments
This is not in our plan for V1, but could be a logical future addition for sure. |
From Ubuntu: Middle click to paste text |
Reference: https://github.com/OneQuick |
OneQuick can perform this #6357 too |
I would love to have the functionality as well! |
Changed the label since this idea is not an enhancement of the current KBM, but a very different thing. |
Would love to see this toy, I was hoping to use keyboard manager to normalise shortcuts across drawing & whiteboarding applications, but the ability to remap middle mouse button click or remap to a middle mouse button click is important for that, as many drawing applications use it for panning or other movements |
I hope the remapping of Keyboard and mouse combinations to a single key is being pursued. It's difficult to tell from this different requests.... In my instance, it would be useful to have a keyboard modifier + left mouse click generate a different keystroke; for example F12 |
+1 for adding "scroll mouse wheel" to the remapping options... 🙏 Basically every application ever zooms in and out using Ctrl+Mouse-wheel — except Photoshop, which for some godforsaken reason insists on using Alt+Mouse-wheel... and it's driving me crazy! |
This should totally be added |

I wonder if it is possible to map different actions:
(i.e. minimize others, minimize to tray, kill process, send to back, always on top, center window)
upon pressing window menu icons (minimize, maximize, and close) with different mouse buttons.
