Power Toys Ran Into A Problem, hundreds of blank white screens occur. #30397

Steps to reproduce

Install the PowerToys.

✔️ Expected Behavior

Nothing.

❌ Actual Behavior

When running in the background a crash screen occurs every few minutes.

I've also been encountering this same issue since updating to 0.76.0 and 0.76.1. I've attached a bug report zip.

Same issue as others here, I upgraded directly from 0.75.1 => 0.76.1 though.

The issue occurs for me exactly once every time I disconnect or connect a monitor (I have several devices on DisplayPort switches).
It also occurs randomly every once and a while as the OP states.

This is what the "blank white screen" looks like:

Hi! We've identified this issue as a duplicate of another one that already exists on this Issue Tracker. This specific instance is being closed in favor of tracking the concern over on the referenced thread. Thanks for your report!

This was hotfixed with 0.76.2. Please update PowerToys.
