Hi,
First of all thank you for this awesome Tool!
I wanted to know, if it is possible to use Frames for Segment Start and End instead of seconds, when importing a project .csv
Example attached.
Start Frame, End Frame, Label
I have a single QT Movie file that needs to be cut and exportet into shots. I have the Frame Count and the naming of each shot.
I can use the label for shot naming, but I did not find a way to use Frames instead of Seconds for the .csv import.
A Frame accurate edit is necessary in my case.
Thank you.
I'm new here so please move this thread if i placed it wrong.
Best,
Chris

I've thought about it:

  • either by making the csv import/export respect the frames/time setting, although it may be confusing for some people
  • or by adding separate options for import export

Hi, thank you for looking into this!
Since frame precise editing might only be really useful for codecs like .avi or qt container codecs like mjpeq, apple proRes, DnxHd etc, i think a separate option to ingest frame precise segment information would be better.
I tried to convert my frame values to (milli)seconds, but it is simply not precise enough. Having the option to define frame precise segments would be essential for me.
Thank you.

Awesome! Thank you very much. I'll give it a try as soon as the new version is available. Thank you.
