Added support for "base" in config options, in order to do a zero-based position. The default is 1, which keeps current behavior intact.

Excluding Travis combo of Ruby 1.9.2 + Mongoid 3. As per the Mongoid readme https://github.com/mongoid/mongoid , Mongoid 3 is tested against Ruby 1.9.3 or greater.
