This extension is bringing back both clickable map thumbnails & the "Maps" tab to Google results, which have been disabled for european users.
One-click install on the store.
- Download the last version of the extension here.
- Unzip it.
- Go to the Extensions page by entering
chrome://extensionsin a new tab. - Enable Developer Mode by clicking the toggle switch next to Developer mode.
- Click the Load unpacked button and select the unzipped extension directory.
"Et voilà!" You should be able to open Google Maps from a Google results including a map thumbnail.
