Is it intended that released jars will no longer be OSGi bundles?

I see that this release just came out:

Is there someone out there who uses OSGi who can help with this? My first choice would be for a community member to: 1. Open a PR with the necessary manifest changes 2. Add a test case that uses some sort of OSGi platform to verify that all the modules actually load My second choice would be to have a community member who knows OSGi well who can tell us exactly what to put in the manifest of each module so that they work, and commit to testing any PR that we create. So we're looking for help -- let me know if you can be the one to help, or just open a PR. Thanks!

I'm really not sure how all the code is organized. For Orbit we just use these BND instructions to generate the necessary details in the MANIFEST.MF:

It's fine that we keeping doing it like this in the future. It's just a bit odd that this changed from the 1.7.x releases to the 1.8.0 release so I wondered if something slipped through the cracks...
